The full moon was shining as a horse with a rider dashed through a dark forest. The man that had mounted the animal had no head. His cruel and hollow laughter echoed through the woods. In his free hand was a flaming pumpkin with an evil face.
The people in Sleepy Hollow knew of this man as the Headless Horseman. He brought fear upon everyone whom saw him. The people feared to go out in the dark as they were terrified to cross paths with this deadly rider. In their fright they called upon anyone who could help them to get rid of the danger that terrorized their lands.
Many came and they all failed. Exorcists, wizards, witches, hunters and huntresses all tried their best but the Headless Horseman was wiser than them all together. He avoided all traps, he scared his pursuers by throwing his pumpkin head at them, and rest he plain killed.
The last choice for the people was to move away but that was when the Headless Horseman took down to ride during the day. He patrolled and kept his place. Whomever dared to face him, gained the most horrifying death. He kept the Sleepy Hollow in fear for centuries.... And he still rides in those lands allowing no-one to escape.
So if you wish not to be trapped into terror’s net, do not visit Sleepy Hollow. The Headless Horseman will allow people to come but no-one leaves alive. This is his hunting grounds, his territory and he guards it surprisingly easily. Sleepy Hollow shall never be set free from the terror of the Headless Horseman.
