Sweet Dreams, Link

    Link had fallen asleep in the forest. Even though it was very warm day, Link still held the white undershirt and chainmail out of habit. Though, he had changed the long sleeved one into short sleeved. He had taken his sword, scabbard and shield off even though he had left the belt on. Though, the belt felt very loose without the weight but he didn’t care. The day was hot and he had needed the rest. The good thing, though, was that Dark wasn’t far from him.

    The dark Hylian had been bit wiser as he had left the undershirt and chainmail off. He too had taken the weapons off but left the loose belt on. The dark Hylian didn’t leave far from the sleeping Hylian for two reasons. The first one was to keep eye on his love and that he stayed safe. The second was to just admire him and watch him sleep.

    Eventually he came next to Link and knelt down. Dark grinned a bit as he thought out different ways of waking up the golden haired male. The dark Hylian knew that his love didn’t like being bitten or nibble at nor was he too fond of getting kisses into his ear. The ruby eyed male knew of the other one’s soft spots and even could see one of those three places but he wasn’t that kind of guy who’d go for those while his heart’s chosen wasn’t awake and knowing what was going on. These notions shortened his list of ideas in the ways of waking his Angel from sleep.

    Dark placed his right hand against the bark of the tree to lean against it a bit. He kept his other hand at the ground and leaned close to his love. After a moment of admiring Link’s beautiful features, he gently kissed the corner of his lips. The golden haired male smiled a bit while humming happily.

    The dark Hylian’s grin widened a bit at the reaction he received. Link hadn’t seemed to sleep too happily out of the slight frown and how hunched his arms were over his chest. The smile and hum had gotten the cerulean eyed one to calm down a bit and relax slightly. This small change got Dark not to care whether or not he’d get the ex-Hero awake. He simply wanted to see his love happy and peaceful.

    The ruby eyed swordsman’s grin had turned into a fond smile and he softly kissed Link’s nose. That had always gained a slight blush and a cute small smile. And the dark Hylian wasn’t disappointed of the given reaction of blush and a smile that often was accompanied by the look of puppy-dog-eyes but with much softer and bit lopsided way.

    Enjoying of the given unconscious actions, Dark continued his kisses and planted one to Link’s forehead equally gently as the ones before. The blush started to fade off but the cute smile stayed on his face. The golden haired male had relaxed quite well by now and the dark Hylian was fully happy of that. If nothing else, he was helping his love to sleep calmly and hopefully to see happier dreams too.

    Dark contemplated for a while but there was something he wanted to check. He didn’t doubt Link’s reaction’s honesty when awake but current unconscious doings just meant a bit more. Eventually the dark Hylian made his choice and kissed the golden haired one’s ear. The reaction was what he had known to happen.

    Link twitched his ear while his calm and happy expression turned into a scowl. He also gave a short snort of disappointment which clearly showed his dislike for the action. Even though the ruby eyed male didn’t like seeing his love like this, he still couldn’t deny how cute the cerulean eyed one looked like with the given expression.

    To soften the situation, Dark gently kissed the Hyrule’s Hero’s nose. The blush came up very swiftly but the scowl didn’t leave that easily. The expression was softer but still not what it should’ve been by the given kiss. This was why the dark Hylian continued and kissed the other one’s forehead. The given show of love started to relax things back to how it was supposed to be.

    Wanting to fully calm the moment back to right ways, Dark gave a gentle Inuit kiss and softly called his love’s name. Link hummed a bit to show he heard even though he didn’t open his eyes. The darker Hylian was bit surprised of the reply but he smiled fondly at it. “I love you, Angel.” He whispered softly and lovingly.

    Link smiled fondly while relaxing fully but he kept his eyes closed as he was still asleep. The golden haired warrior just had recognized Dark’s voice and understood the words. “I love you too, kitty.” The reply was quiet and just barely above the whisper since he was talking in his sleep.

    The answer fully melted Dark and he very carefully moved Link from leaning against the tree onto his lap. The cerulean eyed sleeper whined a bit in discomfort but he swiftly found a comfortable position on his love’s lap. The golden haired male’s head rested on the dark Hylian’s shoulder with few of his breaths bit tickling as his breathing hit into the crook of neck and shoulder before finding bit more comfortable place which redirected the breathing into going towards Dark’s chest. Link was more on his right side instead of having his back against the ruby eyed one’s chest. The left arm of his gently rose to take a hold of the dark Hylian’s right shoulder.

    Dark gently but firmly rounded his arms around his love while resting his own head bit over Link’s. He slightly moved to lean his back against the tree to stay upright and keep the other Hylian on his lap and in his arms. This was one of the best places he could ever think to be in, just simply holding the cerulean eyed male.

    Dark sighed contently and closed his eyes. He didn’t fall asleep since he enjoyed of the moment way too much. The dark Hylian had thought about kissing Link fully to lips but he bit feared to gain more or less of the same kind of reaction that kissing the soft spots would give and he didn’t want to mislead his love like that. Instead, he now and then kissed the top of the sleeping Hylian’s head as well as his forehead and nose. Those were to show his caring and that he was right there and looking after him.

    At some point Dark gently started to pet Link’s hair while having buried his nose into the golden locks of his love. His gaze was in the forest but his mind was more in the happy memories they’ve shared. Slight movement from Link startled him and he carefully moved his head up to look at him.

    The cerulean eyed male yawned before sitting bit straighter and started to stretch. Dark watched with a slightly lopsided grin which brought one fang of his into sight. Link blinked his eyes open and smiled lopsidedly at the sight. “You know I like your fangs, don’t you?” He inquired in half a whisper while already leaning closer and slightly licking at the sharp tooth. This bit surprised the dark Hylian and he soon blushed.

    Link chuckled a bit and gently kissed Dark to lips. The ruby eyes slowly closed at the action as he fully melted at the kiss. The golden haired warrior pulled off from the kiss and hugged tightly his companion while closing his own eyes. The dark Hylian sighed contently and tightened his hold. “Did you sleep well?” He inquired quietly, pretty much whispering the words straight into his love’s ear.

    Link bit shivered at the breath in his ear but his smile simply widened. “I think I slept better than for a while now. And I always love to wake up to find you holding me.” He answered before taking a deep breath and eventually standing up. “Anyways, I think I’ve slept longer than I should’ve.” The Hyrulian Hero said and offered his hand to Dark.

    The dark Hylian let Link pull him up but he did frown a bit in confusion. “But we’re not in a hurry to anywhere...” He half mused while having bit wished to just keep holding the other swordsman.
