Paper cut

This is something very short and cute. I first thought of trying to put another short story with this to lengthen things but can't come up with anything worthy enough. And as always, I only own the story but not the characters. They belong to Nintendo. Anyways, enjoy!

“AH!”

Dark was tad startled and he swiftly turned his gaze into his love. “Link? Are you alright?” He inquired while watching the golden haired warrior with slight concern.

Link simply nodded while sucking his finger. He bit sighed as he took it out of his mouth to inspect the small cut. “Just a paper cut.” The cerulean eyed male told.

“Can I see?” Dark asked while putting the book down and crawling over to the Hero. Link was just going to tell it was no big deal when his gaze fell into the cute puppy-dog-eyes the dark Hylian was sporting. The green clad Hylian sighed a bit but smiled fondly and gave his hurt hand to his love.

Dark took the offered hand gently into his own and started to inspect the slight wound. Link watched how the ruby eyed male gently blew some air into the cut before kissing it. The golden haired fighter blushed slightly at the action. Suddenly the black haired Hylian stood up. “Don’t move.” He half commanded before already leaving the room. Link frowned and watched him leave before bit shrugging and turning towards his book again.

But Dark came back before Link could pick the book back up. And he brought a small bandage with him. “Can I?” The dark Hylian requested while nodding towards the hurt hand.

Link sighed a bit “Dark, honestly. It’s no—“

Whimper. Bit sad looking puppy-dog-eyes.

The Hero blinked and stared at the expression and reaction his love was giving. How could he say no to that? Link sighed heavily, half in exaggeration and half in real, but the fond smile returned to his face as he gave his hand to the dark Hylian again.

Dark took the hand gently, inspected the paper cut again, and very gently put the bandage into the very slight wound before kissing it. “It’s not too tight, is it?” He asked bit worriedly. Link simply shook his head before already leaning close to the ruby eyed male and kissed him to the lips.

Goddesses knew how much Link loved it when Dark was this overly protective, gentle and loving. It was so cute and so perfectly showing how much he meant to the dark Hylian. So simple yet so affectionate. Just simply so adorable that the Hero just couldn’t say no to it.
